2016 WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS

Lee offers many different workshops and seminars. They include:

  • Introduction to Practical Aesthetics Scene Study & Technique
  • Intermediate-Advanced Practical Aesthetics Scene Study & Technique
  • Farce and Comedy
  • Auditions: Cold Readings & Monologues
  • Actors, Writers and Directors Lab: Material development & the rehearsal process

Non Acting lectures:

  • Film Genre: A series of lectures on major film genres, including Comedy, Detective Films, War, Adapting True Stories into Narrative Cinema, and Westerns
  • Culture and Aesthetics: A series of culture-based lectures including Censorship, The Art of Protest, and Post-War Counterculture (Beats, Hippies & Punks)

ATLANTA PRACTICAL AESTHETICS WEEKEND

Two One-Day intro sessions to the Practical Aesthetics technique of script analysis and scene study. FOR CURRICULUM, SEE L.A. WORKSHOP ABOVE.

SCHEDULE: Friday “meet and greet” 6pm – 10pm; Saturday 10am – 6pm; Sunday 10am – 6pm

LOCATION: Frat Pack Productions, 367 North Clarendon Ave., Scottdale, GA 30079

 FEE: $100 per day (Saturday or Sunday) $5 processing fee via PayPal

MIAMI PRACTICAL AESTHETICS WORKSHOP

FALL 2016 DATES TBA

SCHEDULE: Thursday  6pm – 10pm (required for first-timers); Friday  6:00pm – 10pm; Saturday  10am – 6pm; Sunday 10am – 6pm

LOCATION: PAN CENTER, North Miami Beach (subject to change)

FEE: Three-day workshop (Fri – Sun): $275; Four days (Thurs – Sun) $325*

All four days are REQUIRED if this is your first Practical Aesthetics workshop. We will cover the fundamental script analysis work Thursday evening.
